ARIS is
Agricultural Research Information System.
ARIS is functioning with
the latest facilities available from the information technology. It has a LAN
spread in 6.5 kilometers area. Buildings are connected with optical fibre cables
and within each building UTP cabling has been done. Broadband
Internet has been made available on the LAN through BROADBAND VSAT made available
by ICAR through ERNET, New Delhi. A single ERNET Internet connection is shared
among multiple users, bringing about tremendous cost savings for the university.
Several users have been trained to use Internet. New users are being trained regularly.
This web page is
a new service. Using this web page users can access great web sites with a few
mouse clicks. This is very convenient for even new users who have trouble typing
the web addresses. Use
our permanent and general address book. You can add and search. So welcome and
happy surfing. This
